Description

This 1/8" Cleco bundle includes 10 copper Cleco temporary panel fastener pins. Cleco pins are incredibly useful when working with sheet metal, allowing you to temporarily secure panels and other components in position for test fitting before the final riveting or welding. Simply drill a 1/8" hole and insert the pin using the a pair of CLECO pliers.

Directions for Use

  1. Position the panels - Place one panel over the other in the desired position where you want to join them.
  2. Drill the hole - At each fastening point, drill through both panels using a 1/8″ drill bit.
  3. Load the cleco into pliers - Squeeze the Cleco pliers to compress a cleco fastener (Pliers sold separately).
  4. Insert the cleco - While holding the pliers compressed, insert the cleco into the drilled hole, then release the pliers so the fastener locks in place.
  5. Repeat along the joint - Continue drilling and inserting clecos at the required spacing until the panels are secured.
  6. Remove when finished - To remove, use the pliers to compress the cleco and pull it out of the hole.
