Clecos can be quickly removed and reinstalled as needed to keep the panels aligned throughout the process. These fasteners are installed and removed using a dedicated pair of Cleco pliers—a handy tool you’ll find yourself using frequently.

Directions for Use

Position the panels - Place one panel over the other in the desired position where you want to join them.
Drill the hole - At each fastening point, drill through both panels using a 5/32″ drill bit.
Load the cleco into pliers - Squeeze the Cleco pliers to compress a cleco fastener.
Insert the cleco - While holding the pliers compressed, insert the cleco into the drilled hole, then release the pliers so the fastener locks in place.
Repeat along the joint - Continue drilling and inserting clecos at the required spacing until the panels are secured.
Remove when finished - To remove, use the pliers to compress the cleco and pull it out of the hole.
